Vale Dr Patricia Mowbray (AM)
Dear Friends, It is with great sadness, yet many warm and enduring memories, that we wish to advise you that Dr Patricia Mowbray (AM) passed away on Saturday 10 th October 2009.
Pat, as she was known to all, was instrumental in establishing Healthy Cities in Australia and served as President or Vice President of Healthy Cities Illawarra since its inception in 1987. She was a driving force for the movement both in Australia and also overseas and received numerous awards including an Australia Medal and the NSW Public Health Impact Award for her absolute commitment to improving health, well-being and the physical environment through the holistic Healthy Cities approach.

Tables Turned on Children's Breakfast Program Volunteers
The tables will be turned on hard working Illawarra breakfast program volunteers at a special celebrity lunch to be held in Shellharbour to mark United Nation’s International Volunteer Day on December 5th.

The annual Healthy Cities Illawarra Awards will be a special event for 2007 to celebrate Healthy Cities Illawarra's 20th Anniversary of helping create a healthy Illawarra.
