The management committee currently comprises representatives from South East and Illawarra Area Health Services, four local government areas (Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and Shoalhaven), National Heart Foundation, Conservation Volunteers and community representatives. We employ 8 staff with the equivalent of 4.3 full time staff hours. The positions and their primary responsibilities are provided in the statement of facts and contentions. Our Taskforces comprise representatives from other interested organisations and community members. The Chairperson of the Taskforces is elected from within the Taskforce and is not an Officer of Healthy Cities Illawarra. We have three types of membership (Business/Government, Community Organisations and Individuals) but each type does not confer any specific advantage and the membership fees are nominal.
